I just love Anthropologie's newsletters, they make me want to buy or decorate whatever they are suggesting. I suppose that means I should be complimenting their marketing team. :)

ruffle my feathers...

This morning I checked my email to find a new message from shopamatic. It's a feature from New York Magazine and their slogan is "we window-shop so you don't have to." Fun, fun. Their latest spread is all about winter coats and I see the prettiest little ruffled coat. I entertain the idea that I actually need a new winter coat and decide to check it out....

Surprise surprise, it's from my favorite store, Anthropologie and consequently, $348. *Sigh*

It amuses me how often I fall for kitchen-related items since I do not cook at all. But here comes one again from Anthropologie via Mighty Haus. Yay for trivets!

I snuck in a little peak at the Mighty Haus blog today. Oh man, this duvet from West Elm is exactly like the one I saw at Anthropologie, just like Mighty Haus said! 1/3 the cost makes me want it 3 times more!

going to the chapel...

It seems that every summer I need a dress for the numerous weddings of the season. I call it my "wedding dress." I found this dress in the Anthropologie catalog that arrived in my mailbox yesterday afternoon. I think my mouth dropped agape when I saw it, it's so pretty. Hmmm...maybe I need a trip to the Anthro store this weekend.
